Orleans Tower is a 378,895 sf office building located in the New Orleans Central Business District at 1340 Poydras St. Completed in 1977, the building originally served as the headquarters for the American Oil Company (AMOCO.)  In 2013, the then-AMOCO Building was purchased by a privately owned real estate and development company based out of Louisiana. With its local ties and a desire to return the building to its prior glory, the building’s new ownership and management team set out on a mission to re-brand and renovate many aspects of this historic office tower. The name of the building was officially changed to Orleans Tower, and updates to the property began immediately.
